We’d like to introduce you to our Rangers. These volunteer high school students are valuable assets to our YCM program, ably assisting our Artistic Director, our young singers, and their parents alike. First up, let’s meet Tommaso our Tuesday FUNdamentals Ranger!
Tommaso is in his final year of liceo scientifico. He comes to YCM with a variety of musical experiences having studied both the violin and drums for many years. He particularly enjoys participating in the many activities during the Tuesday FUNdamentals course because the kids remind him of his younger self, so free and happy to sing and dance!
Though music remains of great interest to him, Tommaso is most passionate about theatre. He has attended the academy at Quelli di Grock for the past seven years during which he has helped to co-author, produce and act in multiple shows. He is also a part of the theatre troupe at his school and has attended numerous summer workshops including an intensive summer course at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey.
Tommaso’s favorite part of being a YCM Ranger is directly helping Amy and Jenny to establish a progressive program where kids can grow up exploring the arts in a stimulating, intercultural environment.
